This medicine is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18, and effective contraception is required during treatment and for at least six months afterward, as it may affect fertility and is unsafe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Bevarest is given as an intravenous infusion by a trained healthcare professional, usually once every 2 to 3 weeks, with the dose based on body weight. Patients are closely monitored throughout treatment, and regular tests may be done to ensure safety and effectiveness. Common side effects include constipation, reduced appetite, fever, runny nose, skin problems, and weight loss. Serious Side Effects (Seek immediate medical attention):

• Allergic reactions: hives, trouble breathing, or swelling of the face or throat—seek emergency help. (TB)
• During infusion: dizziness, nausea, sweating, headache, chest tightness, or breathing issues tell your healthcare provider immediately.
• Rare brain disorder: extreme tiredness, confusion, vision changes, or seizures call your doctor right away.
• Bleeding: easy bruising, severe stomach pain, blood in stools or vomit, or signs of brain bleeding like slurred speech or sudden weakness.
• Liver problems (yellowing of skin or eyes, dark urine)
• Organ damage: stomach or intestinal tears, slow wound healing, infections, or abnormal openings in organs.
• Other issues: missed periods, kidney or heart problems, blood clots, or low white blood cell counts.

Common Side Effects (Usually mild and temporary):

• High blood pressure : Your blood pressure may rise during treatment, so regular monitoring is important.
• Headache: Mild to moderate headaches can occur but are usually temporary.
• Back pain: Some patients may feel discomfort or aching in the lower back.
• Dry or watery eyes: Your eyes might feel irritated, either too dry or excessively watery.
